The US president, Donald Trump, and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zelenski, agreed to continue the conversations to be able to implement a high partial fire with Russia with a cessation of hostilities in energy and in the Black Sea in a call that “advances towards the end of the war” in Ukraine.
“The meeting of senior officials of both countries helped significantly to move towards the end of the war” in Ukraine, according to the White House spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, based on a statement issued later by the State Department and the National Security Council on today’s call between Trump and Zelenski.
The text explained that in the call of about an hour, Trump explained to the Ukrainian president the content of the conversation of about 90 minutes that he had with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, “thoroughly.”
“Zelenski requested additional aerial defenses to protect his civilians, particularly Patriots missile systems, and President Trump agreed to work with him to identify what is available, specifically in Europe,” says the US statement.

Both leaders agreed on the need to advance the partial fire that begins with not attacking the energy infrastructure, while “technical teams will meet in Saudi Arabia in the next few days to talk about how to extend the high fire to the black sea on the road to a high total fire.”
On Wednesday, however, Ukraine denounced a massive Russian attack against the Ukrainian energy system launched shortly after Putin said he had ordered his army to immediately make said truce immediately.
Trump proposed to Zelenski that the United States assumes the “property” of electric and nuclear plants, since that “could be the best protection for that infrastructure and the best support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure.”
The United States assured that in the so -called Zelenski he thanked Trump, with whom at the beginning of the month he had a tense meeting in the oval office that brought together relations with kyiv, and his “will to adopt a high total fire” was reiterated.
Trump and Zelenski agreed to continue sharing information among defense officials of both countries about the situation in the Russian region of Kursk, which Ukraine invaded to reduce the pressure in their occupied territory, as well as to address the problem of Ukrainian minors transferred to Russia.

Trump considered Wednesday that the call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zelenski, about the negotiation of peace with Russia has been “very good” and focused on “align” the needs of Russia and Ukraine.
The president explained that “much of the conversation” was based on the call held with the eve with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, with the objective of “aligning the requests and needs of Russia and Ukraine.” Trump said he spoke with Zelenski for about an hour.
