Apple TV boasts an absolutely outstanding cast in its psychological thriller Imperfect Women. The series, which premiered its first two episodes on March 18, 2026, is based on the book of the same name by author Araminta Hall. The TV adaptation is created by Annie Weisman, who previously served as the showrunner for Apple TV’s Physical and Fox’s Almost Family. Imperfect Women will consist of eight episodes, released weekly on Apple TV.
Imperfect Women revolves around the devastating end to a decades-long friendship between three women as one of them, Nancy, is found murdered. The surviving two, Eleanor and Mary, knew that Nancy had secrets, but as they begin to search for answers, they realize that Nancy had been spiraling before their eyes without their notice. They’re determined to discover some truths and put their guilt to rest. This becomes tricky, however, since Eleanor and Mary have their own secrets, passions, and resentments that they don’t want to come to the surface.
Imperfect Women is all suspense and guilty-pleasure messiness, led by a cast of absolute icons. Apple TV couldn’t go wrong with names like Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, and Kate Mara, all of whom serve as the show’s titular, flawed central characters. They are joined by a supporting cast of characters who serve as lovers, suspects, friends, and the detectives ruthlessly digging for answers.
