Despite all the uncertainty generated by Donald Trump’s victory in the United States presidential elections, the policies of the New York millionaire could end up benefiting companies that operate on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) or in the United States, as well as Monex stock market specialists commented on it.
Roberto Solano, Analysis manager of the financial institution, commented that there is uncertainty in the market but that there are companies that will have an opportunity for growth, since currently the markets have registered growth since the Republican won the elections, although he recalled that the It has not yet taken into account possible tariffs and other policies that Trump may introduce.
“Semiconductor and artificial intelligence companies will continue to grow. “Nvidia will continue to grow,” commented the specialist, who added that semiconductor companies could trade with profits of up to 20%.
“There will be growth in companies in the technology, financial and telecommunications sectors. With the Trump factor, companies can gain value,” he noted.
Solano mentioned that if the Federal Reserve (Fed) changes its monetary policy to a “less restrictive” one, the markets could benefit even more.
He said that the “best performances” have been observed in the United States, however, he noted that the BMV has registered less growth.
“Only the risk vision has increased a little more, the market has good prospects for 2025,” he added.
For his part, Brian Rodríguez, exchange and stock market analyst, pointed out that in the case of Mexico, in the last quarter there were good financial reports, however, this did not work for foreign investors to increase their investments in the Mexican market.
However, he added that airport and fiber groups could be the “winners” in 2025, due to the infrastructure development that the country could go through.
