The women’s secretary, Citlalli Hernández, criticized that in the public discussion about an alleged sexual assault that involves Cuauhtémoc Blanco, the possible victim is being set aside.
“It seems reprehensible to me that in the public discussion a possible victim is being set aside and that the discussion focuses on a possible lawlessness, in which – in their sayings – the legislators found a poorly integrated folder, putting the focus of the discussion from the political approach to whether or not to defend itself to a possible aggressor and not from a dimension of justice,” said the official in her profile of the social network.
The Morenista added that every complaint must be investigated in depth and that it cannot be still ignored and flashed that the prosecutors do not correctly integrate the investigation folders, because that only causes impunity.
“The malfunction of some local prosecutors promotes impunity and does not guarantee prompt and expedited justice to women,” he said.
The one who Uriel Carmona, a former prosecutor “accused of covering up feminicides,” has used his position for political purposes, does not mean that the complaint of a victim must be left aside, that the lawlessness does not proceed, he did not, he said.
“Today there is a new prosecutor in Morelos and we trust that in this and in other cases the omissions indicated are reviewed, in -depth is investigated and never leave any woman without just and legal response,” he said.
He affirmed that the members of the powers of the Union have the constitutional and legal obligation to carry out actions to combat all kinds of violence towards women.
The Chamber of Deputies held on Tuesday the jurisdiction of the Morenista deputy Morena Cuauhtémoc Blanco, accused of its half brother Nidia Fabiola Blanco of alleged rape in a tentative degree.
With 291 votes in favor, 158 against and 12 abstentions, legislators approved the opinion filed by Morena to reject the request to withdraw the jurisdiction presented by the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office.
Thus, the legislative majority declared as “inadmissible” the request to take the political immunity from the former governor of that entity and one of the most prominent players in the history of Mexico.

Shortly before the vote, Morena’s bench gave the word to Blanco, without the rest of the political fractions agreed, while some of his fellow legislators shouted: “You are not alone.”
Cuauhtémoc Blanco said that his “conscience is calm”, is not “fear” and is in the willingness to go to the local prosecution to respond to the lawsuit against him.
“All this that is being done is unjustified. This is the only thing I ask and I would gladly be willing to go to the Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.
