Salvador Aguilar Hurtado, better known as Xava Drago, vocalist of Coda, died at 56 after a stomach cancer condition, his family and the group said Thursday.
“In the name of the Aguilar Hurtado family: his father, his sisters, his daughters, his nephews, his brother -in -law and Ela we appreciate from heart all the love, support and blessings that Xava received throughout his life. He leaves us a huge emptiness… Eternally Xava Drago. Thank you very much,” the family published in social networks.
“With deep a sadness we reported the death of our brother friend and life partner Java Drago, vocalist of Coda,” the group posted in his networks.
Last year, Xava Drago informed that he had been detected a tumor by which he was surgically intervened and that, after a few months of chemotherapy and radiation, he had overcome the disease, but last April it was notified that he was again in the hospital.
A week ago, the singer posted on his social networks that he no longer had life expectancy according to his doctors so he said goodbye to his fans.
