Chinese President Xi Jinping traveled to South Korea this Thursday, where he will meet today with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, in search of an agreement that will reduce trade tensions between both countries.
Chinese state media reported early on Xi’s departure to the South Korean city of Busan, where the face-to-face meeting with Trump will be held and which is less than a two-hour flight from Beijing.

In addition to meeting the US president, the Chinese president will participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders’ meeting in the city of Gyeongju, and will make a state visit to South Korea.
