The Zapopan government imposed a fine of 33,942 pesos to the Telmex Auditorium, operated by the University of Guadalajara (UDG), after the controversy occurred during the concert of the group Los Alegres del Barranco on March 29, according to the newspaper Publimetro.
The act of the sanction, dated March 29, was lifted with the infraction number 75945 and is based on article 128, section C, numeral 53, of Income Law 2025, for the municipality of Zapopan, in accordance with the medium.
In this event, images of the leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho” cartel were screened, which caused a strong conviction by authorities.
The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, expressed his total disapproval for the incident, stressing that this cartel is related to the events that occurred at the Izaguirre Rancho, in the municipality of Teuchitlán, near the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara.

Lemus highlighted the urgency of avoiding the normalization of violence, especially in public and entertainment spaces.
The Telmex Auditorium, meanwhile, clarified that it had no participation in the selection or projection of the audiovisual content during the concert, but the punishment was applied to the UDG, institution responsible for the management of the enclosure.
The fine was determined under article 128 of Income Law 2025 of the municipality of Zapopan, with the infraction number 75945, and amounts to 300 UMAS.
President Claudia Sheinbaum also said against the incident during the morning conference on Monday, qualifying the projection of images such as “inappropriate.”

Sheinbaum indicated that the apology of violence or criminal groups should not be allowed in any public space, and requested that an investigation be carried out to clarify the facts.
