Ferrari appointed Zhou Guanyu as Wednesday as a pilot reserves in Formula One, after the Chinese lost his seat in the Swiss Suber Saber.

The 25 -year -old pilot will share the position with the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi, who also has commitments to the Italian manufacturer in the world of resistance championship.

New Zhou Guanyu seat

The first F1 Chinese pilot ran three seasons with Sauber, in which he took part in 68 large awards and added 16 points.

In Ferrari a reserve place opened after the British Oliver Bearman, who competed in three races last year as a substitute, passed to Haas.

Zhou also has links with the new Cadillac team, backed by General Motors, who plans to enter Formula 1 in 2026.
