The Argentine president, Javier Milei, will travel to the United States again to attend Argentina Week 2026, a presentation of investment opportunities in the South American country, which will take place from March 9 to 12 in New York City, the US ambassador Peter Lamelas and the Argentine president himself confirmed in the last few hours.

“I will be attending and speaking with my friend, the Argentine ambassador, Alec Oxenford, at Argentina Week, the largest investment event in recent history, with the presence of President Javier Milei,” Lamelas wrote in a publication on his X social network account that was shared by the Argentine president.

Oxenford will present, together with the Argentine Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, the main investment opportunities that Argentina currently offers to global investors, confirmed the ambassador.

“Argentina is already an investable country and will continue to deepen this process. Those who enter in this initial stage will be able to capture differential opportunities in sectors with high potential for growth and scale,” wrote Oxenford.

The ambassador assured that these are investments “capable of transforming the productive matrix and sustaining a path of long-term growth and prosperity.”

He detailed that more than 50 executives from companies that currently invest in the South American country, from companies that are evaluating expanding their presence and from economic groups that are analyzing entering the country will participate in the event.

This trip will be Milei’s fifteenth to the United States since his inauguration in December 2023 and the eighth so far in 2025.
