Sony presented this Monday at the CES 2025 technology fair the intelligent vehicle, with assisted driving, Afeela 1, which it develops together with Honda and which the Japanese multinational hopes to circulate in California in 2026.

Sony Honda Mobility CEO Yasuhide Mizuno announced that Afeela 1 will be available for pre-order in California starting today and will begin production shortly at a plant in Ohio (US) with sales beginning in 2025 and deliveries by mid-2026.

The Afeela 1, which features an assisted autonomous driving system, will start at $89,900 with various subscriptions and services included for three years.

Mizuno highlighted that the vehicle aims to integrate augmented driving and allow you to enjoy entertainment services during the journey.

“The advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) reduces the stress of driving and provides a safe mobility experience, as well as an interactive personal agent that allows communication with the vehicle,” Sony Honda said in a statement.

“Once they activate ADAS, customers can entertain themselves by communicating with Afeela 1. The key to achieving this is the Afeela personal agent”, an intelligent conversational agent that acts as an interface with the vehicle’s functionalities, as Mizuno explained at the beginning of the CES 2025 fair.

“When setting a destination, Afeela provides end-to-end and integrated driving support,” which uses 40 sensors and artificial intelligence software for assisted driving.
