Colombian singers Bayron Sánchez Salazar, artistically known as B King, and Jorge Luis Herrera were located lifeless on Monday, after staying several days missing in Mexico, in the middle of a tour they made in the country, according to local media.
Media such as El País and El Financiero, quoted sources from the State Prosecutor’s Office who confirmed the discovery of both musicians in this state, close to the Mexican capital.
According to local media, together with the bodies of the musicians, a threatening message would have been found by a criminal gang, although there is still no official information from the Prosecutor’s Office.
On Thursday, the People Search Commission of Mexico City issued two search sheets after the disappearance of both singers, who were last seen on September 16 in the luxurious neighborhood of Polanco, in the center of the capital of the country, after a presentation that had the previous weekend.
While on Sunday, in his X account, the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, asked his Mexican counterpart, Claudia Sheinbaum, help to locate singer Bayron Sánchez and his coequipero Jorge Herrera.
In his message, Petro said that the musicians disappeared after a concert in the northern state of Sonora, but the state government denied that information, while sources close to the artists assured that they did not move from the Mexican capital.
On Monday morning, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, said that the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC) were already investigating the disappearance of both artists.
“The investigations are already being done by the Attorney General’s Office, the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection and the Attorney General of Mexico City to know who these people are, the complaint of disappearance,” he said.
He affirmed that the complaint of disappearance was filed in Mexico City, where the FGR began immediately with the investigations.

According to local media, B King, 31, and ex -partner of the Colombian DJ Marcela Reyes, was missing since September 16, when he participated in a concert tour in Mexico.
The last time he had news of him was that same day in the colony of Polanco, in Mexico City, where he was supposedly with Herrera, known as Regio Clown.
On September 15, one day before his disappearance, B King thanked fans who attended his presentation in the capital of the country through social networks.
Reyes asked through Instagram that his followers collaborated with the search for his ex -partner, interpreter of songs such as ‘Destinad’, ‘How rich we kiss’, ‘Made in Cali’ and ‘You need me’, and made a call to both President Petro and the Colombian Foreign Ministry to act in the case.
“I hope Mexico’s help to find these beautiful young people who dare to sing to beauty and keep hope in their hearts,” said Petro.
